SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
