Al-Najm 3 of 3
So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
