And when Allah said: O Isa, I am going to terminate the period of your stay (on earth) and cause you to ascend unto Me and purify you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, so l will decide between you concerning that in which you differed. 55 "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." 56 And as for those who believed and worked righteous works, He shall repay them their hires in full, and Allah loveth not the wrong-doers. 57 What We recite to you consists of signs and wise admonition. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 The truth is from your Lord, therefore, do not be among the doubters. 60 And if anyone should argue with thee about this [truth] after all the knowledge that has come unto thee, say: "Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray [together] humbly and ardently, and let us invoke God's curse upon those [of us] who are telling a lie." 61 This is indeed the truthful narration. There is no god except Allah. It is Allah who is the Almighty, the Wise. 62 And if they turn their backs, assuredly God knows the workers of corruption. 63
