The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the chargers panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
