۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 "There is a small group of people 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
