The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
