۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
