Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
