THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
