And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 #NAME? 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64
