On the Day that the enemies of God shall be gathered together and driven to the Fire, they shall be formed into groups, and 19 when they come close to it, their ears, eyes and skins will testify against them for their misdeeds. 20 They will ask their own skin, "Why did you testify against us?" They will reply, "God, who has made everything speak, made us also speak. It was He Who created you in the first place and to Him you have returned. 21 Ye did not hide yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should testify against you, but ye deemed that Allah knew not much of what ye did. 22 It is this notion you had of your Lord that caused your ruin, and you are lost." 23 Even if they are patient, their abode is Hell; and if they beg for favour, none will favour them. 24 ۞ And We have assigned unto them some companions who made fairseeming unto them that which was before them and that which was behind them, and justified upon them was the word pronounced on the communities of the jinn and mankind who passed away before them; verily they were the losers. 25
