Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
