"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And tell them about Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
