The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the heavens and that which comes in the night -- 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are cunningly devising, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
