The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
