The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
