AND, [likewise,] indeed, the people of Al-Hijr gave the lie to [Our] message-bearers: 80 And we gave them Our revelations, but they were averse to them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them except with Truth. Surely the Hour will come. So, (O Muhammad), do graciously overlook them (despite their misdeeds). 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
