3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
