Saad 4 of 5
(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 and other sufferings of the kind. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 Their followers will say, "In fact, it is you who deserve condemnation. It was you who led us to hell, a terrible dwelling". 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 Was it that we (only) took them in scorn, or have our eyes (now) turned aside from them? 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
