Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Did We fail to accomplish the first creation? Of course, We did not; We have all power over all things. Yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
