۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
