Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 and what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
