Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 to burn therein. 16 And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
