Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 And [remember how] We called upon him from the right-hand slope of Mount Sinai and drew him near [unto Us] in mystic communion, 52 And We gave to him out of Our mercy his brother Haroun a prophet. 53 And remember Ismail in the Book; he was indeed true to his promise and was a Noble Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He used to command his people to offer prayer and give charity, and was liked by his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. 56 and We exalted him to a lofty position. 57 THESE WERE some of the prophets upon whom God bestowed His blessings - [prophets] of the seed of Adam and of those whom We caused to be borne [in the ark] with Noah, and of the seed of Abraham and Israel and [all of them were] among those whom We had guided and elected; [and] whenever the messages of the Most Gracious were conveyed unto them, they would fall down [before Him,] prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 In the gardens of Eden promised by Ar-Rahman to His creatures in the unknown (future). Verily His promise will come to pass. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 And we descend not except by the command of thy Lord: His is whatsoever is before us and whatsoever is behind us and whatsoever is in-between; and thy Lord is not a forgetter 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – therefore worship Him and be firm in His worship; do you know any other of the same name as His? 65
