Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 then those whose scales weigh heavy with good works will be successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
