۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 He can put you away, if He will, and bring a new creation 16 And that is for Allah not difficult. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike; 19 Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light; 20 Nor are the (chilly) shade and the (genial) heat of the sun: 21 nor are the living and the dead. God makes to listen whomever He wants. (Muhammad), you cannot make people in the graves to listen. 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 We have sent you with the Truth to proclaim good news and to warn. Never has there been a nation but a warner came to it. 24 And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment. 25 In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! 26
