For everything on the earth is extinction. 26 yet still abides the Face of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 27 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 28 All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time. 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 We shall surely attend to you at leisure, you weight and you weight! 31 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 32 Jinn and mankind, if you can penetrate the diameters of the heavens and the earth, do so, but you cannot do so without power and authority. 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil - 37 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 38 On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns. 39 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 40 The Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, sinners, etc.) will be known by their marks (black faces), and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 42 This is Hell the sinners called a lie. 43 They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. 44 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 45
