The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 The people of the left hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their left hands. How miserable they will be! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude from the ancients. 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 a drink by which their minds will not be clouded nor will it cause drunkenness; 19 And fruit of what they select 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 And water gushing, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 We have made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
