O Children of Adam! verily We have sent down unto you a garment covering your shame and as an adornment; and the garment of piety - that is the best. That is of the signss of Allah, that haply they may be admonished. 26 O Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you as he caused your (first) parents to go forth from the Garden and tore off from them their robe (of innocence) that he might manifest their shame to them. Lo! he seeth you, he and his tribe, from whence ye see him not. Lo! We have made the devils protecting friends for those who believe not. 27 Who say when they commit shameful acts: "Our ancestors used to do so, and God has enjoined us to do the same." Say to them: "God never enjoins a conduct that is shameful. You impute such lies to God as you do not know." 28 Say: My Lord enjoineth justice. And set your faces upright (toward Him) at every place of worship and call upon Him, making religion pure for Him (only). As He brought you into being, so return ye (unto Him). 29 He has guided one group, and one group’s error has been proved; instead of Allah, they have chosen the devil as their friend and they assume that they are on guidance! 30 ۞ O CHILDREN of Adam! Beautify yourselves for every act of worship, and eat and drink [freely,] but do not waste: verily, He does not love the wasteful! 31
