Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
