Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He shall say: Go away into it and speak not to Me; 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
