Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
