Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
