Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the morning hours 1 and the brooding night! 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
