Al-Hummazah
The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in endless columns! 9
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
