The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, for a genuine purpose. The Day of Judgment will certainly approach, so (Muhammad) forgive them graciously. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 about what they did. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 Glorify and praise your Lord and be with those who prostrate themselves before God. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
