What keeps people from belief that guidance has come to them, but they question, "Why has God sent a mortal Messenger?" 94 Say, "If there were upon the earth angels walking securely, We would have sent down to them from the heaven an angel [as a] messenger." 95 Say: Allah suffices as a witness between me and you; surely He is Aware of His servants, Seeing. 96 And he whom Allah guides, he is led aright; but he whom He sends astray for such you will find no Auliya' (helpers and protectors, etc.), besides Him, and We shall gather them together on the Day of Resurrection on their faces, blind, dumb and deaf, their abode will be Hell; whenever it abates, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire. 97 This shall be their meed because they disbelieved in Our signs and said when we have become bones and fragments, shall we in sooth be raised up a new creation! 98 ۞ Have they not perceived that Allah, Who has created the heavens and the earth, has the power to create the like of them? He has fixed a term for them about which there is no doubt. And yet the wrong-doers obstinately persist in unbelief. 99 Say: "If ye had control of the Treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, behold, ye would keep them back, for fear of spending them: for man is (every) niggardly!" 100
