The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the Word is fulfilled against them (the unjust), we shall produce from the earth a beast to (face) them: He will speak to them, for that mankind did not believe with assurance in Our Signs. 82
