Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 In a book that is protected 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
