The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We will, We shall send down on them out of heaven a sign, so their necks will stay humbled to it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
