۞ Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and hoary hair after strength; He creates what He pleases, and He is the Knowing, the Powerful. 54 And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the culprits will swear that they tarried not but an hour; thus were they ever deluded. 55 And those who are given knowledge and faith will say: Certainly you tarried according to the ordinance of Allah till the day of resurrection, so this is the day of resurrection, but you did not know. 56 The excuses of the unjust on this day will be of no avail to them and they will not be able to please God. 57 We have told people various parables in this Quran. Even if you had shown them a miracle, the unbelievers would have said, "You are only the followers of falsehood". 58 Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not. 59 so have patience [O Muhammad]! God's promise is true; let not those who will not be convinced make you discouraged. 60
