And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
