[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ. 55 And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers." 56 And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loveth not wrong-doers. 57 These are some verses that We recite to you, and advice full of wisdom. 58 Truly, the likeness of Jesus, in God's sight, is as Adam's likeness; He created him of dust, then said He unto him, 'Be,' and he was. 59 (Muhammad, the essence of) the Truth is from your Lord. Never have any doubt about it. 60 And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, "Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. 61 Most surely this is the true explanation, and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah-- He is the Mighty, the Wise. 62 But if they turn away, then indeed - Allah is Knowing of the corrupters. 63
