The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (some), exalting (others); 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and continuous shade, 30 near to flowing water 31 and fruit abounding, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And raised couches. 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
