We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust; 105 And ask the forgiveness of Allah, surely Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 106 Do not defend those who deceive themselves; God does not love those who are treacherous and sinful. 107 They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah, and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah, of what they do, encompassing. 108 Well, you are those who pleaded for them in the life of this world; but who will plead for them on the Day of Resurrection or be their security? 109 He who does evil or wrongs himself and then asks forgiveness of Allah will find that Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 110 He who commits sin does so against his own soul. God is all knowing and wise. 111 And whosoever earnoth a vice or a sin, and thereafter casteth it on an innocent, he hath surely borne a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
