Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We sent down the auspicious water from the sky, therefore producing gardens with it, and the grain that is harvested. 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
