We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
