HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
