Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Generous and recording, 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
