The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
